Our color dye chips are designed to create great candles every time. Each octagonal dye chip is the same size and contains the same amount of color ingredients, making it possible to duplicate. Each chip will color approximately one pound of wax. Dye chips can be cut in half for lighter colors, or add more dye chips per pound for darker colors, depending on preference.
Our dye chips are made from soy based wax and will work in all candle wax, including, but not limited to: Paraffin blends, Soy Wax, Beeswax, Palm and Vegetable.
Although we make every effort to maintain consistency in our batches, we cannot guarantee perfect color matches every time. Please make color samples and check each batch against the color sample(s) before pouring.
Please note: Due to the slight color variances in computer monitors, we ask that you use the images for reference only.

It would have been great to know the colors in advance, a lot of brown tones, and no black or white. Quality seems good tho. RESPNSE BY MAPLE STREET: The colors are listed in the item listing.

Dye Chips
I have used other company Dye Chips but these melt so much better in my wax. They do not leave any little particles. They completely melt into the wax. Love them.

Just the right size
These are just the right size. I can easily figure out how many chips to use for wax amounts. Typically I prefer liquid colors, but I genuinely like these just as much and I find them easier and faster to use in real time. I don’t even have to stop stirring to use, which is new for me. Just plop them in and keep going. I pour using the Alex method, so this is particularly useful to me. Highly recommend for soy wax.

I love these chips. They give great color. The only thing that I wish was different was the company name included on the label with the color name so I always remember where I got them when I run out of a color. Every other candle supply company I use has their name included on the packaging.
