Our color dye chips are designed to create great candles every time. Each octagonal dye chip is the same size and contains the same amount of color ingredients, making it possible to duplicate. Each chip will color approximately one pound of wax. Dye chips can be cut in half for lighter colors, or add more dye chips per pound for darker colors, depending on preference.
Our dye chips are made from soy based wax and will work in all candle wax, including, but not limited to: Paraffin blends, Soy Wax, Beeswax, Palm and Vegetable.
Although we make every effort to maintain consistency in our batches, we cannot guarantee perfect color matches every time. Please make color samples and check each batch against the color sample(s) before pouring.
There are approximately 340 Dye chips per pound.
